THIRD SPACE: Local Collabs
Collaboration in the creation, design, and realization of a work is essential in the field of arts from its beginnings. Although a work arises from the mental and creative exercise of an artist, it is also the result of collaboration among diverse knowledge and individuals involved in its execution. Their contributions, though invisible, become relevant at the moment of exhibition.
With the aim of deepening and actively participating in a multitude of collabs, the Plural program in 2024 will focus on highlighting individuals and processes that, through their interest and contribution to the concerns of cultural agents, make our artistic ecosystem possible. To kickstart this objective, we present the sixth edition of Third Space: Local Collabs.
In this edition of Third Space, we seek to bring together artists with diverse backgrounds and local producers specializing in materials such as metal, cardboard, concrete, fabric, and wood. Through meetings and conversations, it is expected that they will develop two pieces in an enriching exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The results will be presented through an exhibition at Plural, an immersive exhibition in the five selected local production workshops, and a series of talks and encounters.
