2019 – Camp

A camp is a settlement regularly peripheral or located in a non-place, far from cities. A camp is a habitable space for the survival of a given group of people. It is a flexible, adaptable structure in a continuous state of transformation, nomadic and itinerant that responds to the various socio-political situations of mankind, which implies displacement and congregation at the same time. We want to reflect on the role of camp in contemporaneity: immigration, displacement, war, resistance, ecology and science.
