ARTBO Tutor 2019: Walking In Circles
An exhibition that is part of the ARTBO Tutor exhibition program in its 2019 edition and that proposes as an exploration, a set of works by artists who have been part of the program this year and whose works pose a dialogue around the existing points between ways of situating ourselves and inhabiting space. Walking in circles is, in a way, a cyclical return to the starting point. In this sense, the exhibition is conceived as a look at the dialectical relationships between transit and inhabitation, presence and absence, as well as the meeting points between those experiences that occur both in the private and in the public sphere. To walk in circles is in a way an invitation to think those questions about the everyday, the permanent and inconsequential of being located and inhabiting a place.
The goal of ARTBO Tutor in its 2019 edition is to generate beyond the program, meeting points, dialogue and collaboration with alternative spaces, in order to articulate work experiences and exchange as a bet that contributes to the creative and pedagogical process of the artists participating in the program.
